The Three Powertrains

A 2.5L four-cylinder paired with hybrid hardware and a rear eAxle, for 244 hp total. This is the entry point to the range at $59,685 CAD.
ES 350e (EV, FWD)
A single front motor making 221 hp. Lexus Canada quotes up to 480 km of range; the EPA rates the U.S. version at up to 307 miles on 19-inch wheels.
ES 500e (EV, AWD)
Front motor plus a 118-hp rear motor for 338 hp combined, with DIRECT4 torque vectoring and 0–60 in about 5.1 seconds. EPA range is up to 276 miles.
Both EV models share a 74.7 kWh battery pack. Vietnam's registry data (filed ahead of the October 7 launch there) lists the ES 500e at 2,280 kg curb weight with 356.04 Wh/km energy consumption — expect real-world range below the headline numbers on 21-inch wheels.

The new ES measures 202.4 inches long with a 116.1-inch wheelbase — roughly BMW 5 Series size — and Lexus says rear legroom is generous, with 40 inches cited by Canadian outlets.
